Wedding Sport Band

Brides and wives! Do you have a decoy ring?
Just curious. Engagement rings and bands often cost a LOT, and there are just some places where you don't want to sport expensive jewelry. So do you have a "decoy" ring?
I've kind of got two. I've got my wedding band, which at $400 wasn't cheap, but I wear it most days by itself and keep my engagement ring for special occasions.
I've also got an inexpensive silver and CZ ring that vaguely resembles my engagement ring. I wore it on a trip to Mexico, leaving my nice ring at home.
I actually got this idea from my Grandmother. She had a huge, fancy CZ ring that she wore on cruises in case their cabin got burglarized... she never told their friends it wasn't real diamonds!
BTW, I *think* this is where I bought my "decoy" ring. I don't recall for sure, but I thought I'd post in case anyone else thought it was a good idea: http://www.morningjewelry.com/silver-engagement-rings/
My friends were planning a trip to the Dominican a few years ago. Hubby was a little upset because my friend payed $150 for a cz ring to wear instead of her wedding set. After they were robbed while on a guided tour, he was sure grateful that she lost a $150 set and not a $10 000 set.
Decoy rings are not a bad idea if you are going anywhere a little sketchy. Another country, the bar, gardening (hey it happens).
