String Sterling
Roundwound or flatwound Bass guitar strings (electric bass)?
What is the better choice? I want clear highs and solid sounding lows without all of the string noise, fret noise and finger pain. I'm a heavy handed player that also likes to pop and pluck. Is there a flat wound that gives me the best of both worlds? Also which strings last longer? I play with my fingers and own an Ernie Ball Sterling.
